Yankee Candle & Ornament Fundraisers

The Bohring-Opitz Syndrome Foundation is excited to announce that we are hosting not  one, but TWO fabulous holiday fundraisers this year.

First, we have partnered with YANKEE CANDLE to offer you the wonderful Christmas (and other) candles and gift items you have always enjoyed.  This time, however, 40% of the proceeds from your purchase will go towards supporting BOS families.  Click the link below to be directed to our fundraiser. Check to make sure the name “Bohring-Opitz” appears at checkout --- if not, use group code 999988414.  Items will be shipped directly to your home. Please contact anita@bos-foundation.org with any questions or concerns.

Second, our new HOLIDAY ORNAMENT is beautiful and sweet as can be.  Add it to your collection or buy your first.  Either way, you are generously supporting BOS families like your own.
To purchase your ornament, click the link below.  Please note that at this online store, you can also buy BOS decals, BOS wristbands, and BOS magnetic ribbons, all excellent stocking stuffers.
Please contact taylor@bos-foundation.org with any questions or concerns.

You might be wondering . . . what does the BOS Foundation do with the money it raises?

The BOS Foundation:

  • Supports patients and families

  • Organizes and hosts the annual BOS Family Meet-Up

  • Spreads awareness to the public and medical community through BOS Awareness Day, social media, newsletters, Internet site, and attending advocacy/awareness events within the rare disease community

  • Supports research

  • As of 2019, offers grants to families upon their application (for home modifications, van/automobile purchase/modifications, equipment purchases, travel stipends, funeral expenses, and more)

Please know that every dollar we raise goes towards improving the lives of those with BOS and their families.  Board members are volunteers.

We hope you will participate in and enjoy these two fundraisers. You will be able to purchase items you truly use, while empowering us to continue our work on your behalf.

Best wishes for a joyful, peaceful and healthy holiday season.
