A Big-Top Success! The 6th BOS Family Meet-Up Brings Joy, Connection, and Community (Copy)

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, families from across the globe gathered at The Inn at Villanova University in Radnor, PA for a truly unforgettable event — the 6th Bohring-Opitz Syndrome (BOS) Family Meet-Up! The BOS community came together for a day filled with love, laughter, and the kind of connection you can only find among those who truly understand.

This year’s Meet-Up was more than just an event — it was a celebration of strength, unity, and the power of shared experience. Whether it was a family's first time attending or their sixth, the joy of gathering under the “BOS big top” was undeniable.

What Made This Year So Special?

Families of children, adults, and angels with Bohring-Opitz Syndrome spent the day engaging in meaningful conversations, sharing personal journeys, and forming lasting friendships. The sense of being truly seen and understood was echoed throughout the day:

“Nobody gets BOS like a BOS family. It’s so motivating to be around people who get it, when we are constantly surrounded by people who don’t.”
Brian K.

“When rare journeys bring us together, we are no longer strangers — we are a family stitched by courage and hope.”
Sukhkaran K.

“Every other year, we plan our family vacation around this awesome BOS Family Meet-Up. Being able to meet and visit with families that are experiencing the same thing as us is something that no one else gets.”
Taylor G.

These heartfelt reflections remind us why this event is so vital. The Meet-Up is more than a gathering- it’s a lifeline.

As we look back on the 6th BOS Family Meet-Up, our hearts are full. Thank you for making this event a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Here's to growing, connecting, and celebrating — together.

With deep gratitude,
The BOS Foundation Team
